“making of” shows that the message about more cooperation is catching on - center.tv makes a film with naturheilzentrum bottrop in düsseldorf’s media harbor
take 1, camera running – shooting day for a film with a message
the clapperboard has sounded for the last time, the scenes have been completed, and the final version is also in the can. a shooting day with joy and depth. christmas can now begin. we have a special surprise for the festive period: a film about small gestures and great values, about what is important in life, and what so often gets forgotten when calendars are overfilled with appointments and countless obligations.
the idea came from the pens of creative minds. the bottrop-based naturopaths farid zitoun and christian rüger sat down together with their team and thought about what they want to pass on or give away this year. "it should be something special", said christian rüger, describing the brainstorming process, "something we ourselves would be happy with, something that many miss, something which we ourselves would make use of, and therefore gladly pass on to others."
more space for something interPersonal
our cabinets are full, the kitchen is stocked with all the necessary equipment, we know a lot of beautiful places in the world – what could be more obvious here than to give away a small piece of Humanity? to win others over, to go through life with open eyes. then it occurred to us that if a waitress in a restaurant forgets to put the second glass of wine on the bill, it only takes a little remark from our side, and the bill will be correct when the cash is checked at the end of the evening. it's the little gestures that ultimately make our lives better. and this is what farid zitoun and christian rüger want to convey in their positive message.
“making of” shows impressions behind the scenes
this little film emerged against this backdrop. a short piece where values such as respect, Humanity and appreciation are brought into focus. almost all of the nabo team took part, both in front of and behind the scenes. familiar faces in a whole new role - with a clear message.
a moving experience for everyone – it depended on every single one of us
those for whom it was the first time on a set found it to be an interesting experience. they were prepared for the shoot in the make-up room, they went through the sequence one more time, everyone got into place, and then it could begin. it was filmed in an exciting and highly professional way on the düsseldorf film set, using one shot (a special type of video production). as partners, zitoun and rüger remained by the side of the television crew, around victoria frankenheim from center.tv.
when filming in the media harbor, the success of the scene in front of the camera - no matter how big or small - came down to each individual. "each of you must know what you have to do. otherwise everything has to start again from the beginning," explained the director, marcel wernicke in his instructions to the nabo team for the one shot. because that is how things should be. a film that both touches and speaks from the heart. the cameramen, arne klauke and christian binczok had everything in hand. extras and actors knew how to set the scene with the special message.
the relaxed atmosphere at the set, the fun that all the participants had with each other, the many small mishaps that provided a lot of laughter, flying packets, and unbelievably cumbersome city maps - all this is shown in “making of”.
